Debbie Tighe had no idea what she would run into as she travelled from Uckfield, UK, to Pulborough. And things started to change when she arrived at the Lincoln Stud stables for a horse-jumping competition.
But it wasn’t because of the commotion in the yard. She had accidentally brought something from home with her, which was really unexpected. And she didn’t know it until she heard an unusual noise coming from her car’s “bonnet,” or engine compartment.
Thus, the animal had travelled roughly 40 miles while in that risky position!
Debbie immediately called her friend Olivia Taplin to offer assistance. The women tried to find the source of the noises, but they were unsuccessful. They contacted the neighbourhood fire department because they realised they couldn’t abandon the kitten.
The young black house panther, which the firemen believed to be about 9 weeks old, was promptly brought to safety by the firefighters.
