A survivor cat meets a new dog sister and falls in love right away

Meet Cinder and Bridger McPurr, a dog and cat pair who adore one other to the fullest.

The charitable rescue organisation Mojo’s Hope is based in Anchorage, Alaska, and includes Cinder and Bridger. The two siblings are equally devoted to snuggling despite having quite different upbringings and demands. They’ve naturally become the closest of friends as a result.

After being discovered in the woods by a hiker with a litter of puppies, Cinder first enrolled in the Mojo’s Hope programme in 2015.

Shannon Basner, owner of Mojo’s Hope, told The Dodo that the woman “lacked socialisation and was quite afraid.”

Cinder spent six months at Mat-Su Valley Shelter receiving the attention and care she required after being brought there by the hiker.

Six months later, Cinder become hopes.
