A stray kitten makes its way to the governor’s home and receives the warmest welcome

When Jenny managed to wander up to the North Carolina Executive Mansion, where Governor Roy Cooper and his family reside, one day in late October, she was living as a stray in North Carolina.

She made the decision to seek refuge in the garage, where she was shortly found by the family, who had the best reaction to seeing the little intruder.

The governor and his family decided to keep the adorable kitten after making sure she was healthy.

The little stray kitten would fit right in because Governor Cooper and his family already have several furry members of their team.

A family member posted on the First Pets of North Carolina Facebook page, “We don’t know where she came from or how she got there, but we’ve begun calling her Jennyanydots (like the character from “Cats”).

Jenny’s upgrade from living on the streets to being one of the first pets is significant. She’s been enjoying every second of her new life so far.
