When James got home from work one day, he discovered a malnourished cat in his backyard.
This good man determined to do anything he could to help the cat, who was severely emaciated and had extremely matted fur.
First, he provided this unfortunate cat with some much-needed food and water.
He had obviously gone without food for a while.
then made the decision to try giving him a bath. Once clean, it would be simpler to determine whether anything severe was occurring.
Like most cats, giving him a bath wasn’t simple, but at least the cat was a little cleaner, and even though he disliked the water, he appeared to enjoy the attention.
Though he was unable to let the cat inside due to the presence of other cats, a nice man set up food, drink, and a bed in the utility room so that the cat wouldn’t be left outside alone.
He was taken to the emergency vet the following morning, and happily he didn’t have any serious issues or illnesses.
It was time to take him home after he had a collar fitted to prevent him from scratching his wounds.
Gnar is what James gave him.
The other cats in the home were wary of him at first, but after a few days, they started to show more interest in this newcomer. The situation was beginning to calm down, which was crucial.
They also demonstrated how to use the litter box for him because, as a stray, he probably had never used one before.
Seeing people go above and above to assist a stray animal and offer him the opportunity to become a member of a caring home makes me so happy.

Gnar is doing well and enjoying his new family and life.
He did take the cone off for a bit, but James said that because he continued inflaming his previous injuries, the cone had to be put back on.
Even though the cone is usually on, he still enjoys playing about the house, running after objects, and generally acting like a cat!
James even created Gnar’s own TikTok profile, where you can follow his development and all of his shenanigans (of which there are plenty in the movies below)!
James is overjoyed to have Gnar in his life and it’s fantastic to see how far this cat has gone since the day he was a malnourished cat that wandered into James’ property.
