A 10-week-old kitten with damage to his hindquarters was brought into a shelter. He was nothing but skin and bones and was in dire need of help. The shelter was unable to satisfy the kitten’s (called Indy Scoots) needs since they were so great.
Michelle Fournier, a foster parent with St. Francis Society Animal Rescue in Florida, saw the little guy’s plight and decided to give him a shot.
“I knew deep inside that I had to take Indy. I had never before taken care of a paraplegic cat, but I was confident that I could and that everything would turn out okay “Michelle gave Love Meow some.
She immediately contacted her rescue. The day came to an end, and the shelter shut its doors for the evening while the medical records were being examined. Michelle struggled to sleep that night due to her thoughts about Indy.
“When morning rolled around, I startled myself by picking up my phone and saw a picture of Indy hanging to the bars. Everyone at the shelter adored him to the fullest. They undoubtedly contributed to his survival that night, I’m certain of it.”
