A kind stranger sought to assist a cat who was lost and exploring the streets by looking for her family.
No one came to claim her after we called about, posted on social media, and waited for a response; she wasn’t chipped either.
The cat’s belly became larger, and the finder surmised that she was expecting.
Tiny But Mighty Kitten Rescue’s founder, Mellissa, saw the request for assistance and immediately acted.
According to Mellissa, who spoke to Love Meow, “I reached out and offered to take her in knowing that she was probably pregnant based on her belly.”
The cat, named Willow, was overjoyed to have a cosy spot to curl up in, decent food available, and a tonne of toys to keep her occupied. She instantly felt at home and took ownership of every soft object.
“I knew she had a family at some point since she was so amiable from the moment she came.”
