Liam Thompson, a YouTuber, adores his elderly cat Frodo. He also enjoys construction. Because of his other passion for making silly videos that frequently feature his DIY prowess, his adored cat Frodo, and his labradoodle Max, he has acquired over 1.86 million subscribers.
Although Frodo frequently enjoys lounging in the sun by the pool, getting there is getting harder for him as he gets older because he must climb stairs. At that point, Liam made the decision to put his knowledge and abilities to use and came up with a plan to assist Frodo in safely descending the stairs.
To ensure that his cat would never have to struggle down the stairs to get to his favourite position, he gathered scraps of plywood, an electric hoist, and sliding door rails. It was time to test out his creation after working on it for days through measuring, sanding, and sawing.
As a substitute for Frodo, he tested the machine’s functionality and safety using a stuffed animal. It was now Frodo’s turn to embark on his first journey.
“Are you ready to go downstairs without moving a muscle?” he jokingly questioned Frodo. I certainly hope so, as it took me four days! ”
The success of the elevator, according to Liam, was the best day of his life. The elevator functioned flawlessly.
