Sadly, it occurs frequently. When volunteers and shelter staff arrive at the spot in the morning, they are greeted by abandoned animals.
There are many different causes for it, both good and bad! However, the only good thing about the nine cats that were this time left on the shelter’s doorway was that they were contained.
The abandoned kitties were only discovered by the Ontario Feral Cat Project employees in Oregon yesterday morning. Additionally, working in a shelter is never simple.
There are never enough adopters, food, or resources to care for all the animals. Therefore, it is never simple to unexpectedly bring 9 extra mouths to feed and care for to a shelter.
At least these 9 cats weren’t just dumped on the streets, though. for which we should be grateful.
The fact that these cats don’t seem particularly feral aggravates me the most. if ever! simply afraid And the majority of these cats appear to be fairly sociable. Surprisingly, to strangers after their horrific captivity, and with each other.
In fact, it raises a worry that one of their social media fans focused on as well.
