Five cats have moved inside an Asda supermarket after wandering in and making themselves at home.
Although the supermarket is known for its devoted patrons, a new type of client has started to frequent it during the past year.
Regular customers at the Asda in Pwllheli, Wales, are accustomed to seeing a number of cats relaxing in the entranceway.
One cat began frequently visiting the business approximately six to twelve months ago, which is when the peculiar situation began.
Customers who were perplexed by the white-and-tortoiseshell-colored cat posted on neighbourhood Facebook groups, according to NorthWalesLive. They weren’t sure if the cat was a stray.
Her owner, however, informed the worried client that she was well cared for and fed at home and simply enjoyed coming to the business.
The staff did their hardest to get the animal to go, but instead of walking away and never coming back, it brought its companions over.
Currently, there are at least five different cats that hang out in the foyer almost constantly.
They frequent the location so frequently that the staff was forced to post signs asking customers not to feed them.
