Steph and Francis from Montreal, Canada, observed a few blazing shiny orbs under their neighbor’s balcony around the end of last year. They looked around and saw kittens hopping all about.
They observed two little children idly playing beneath their small hiding place, and directly behind them, a terrified cat mother curled up with her third furry youngster.
The kittens flocked to the food as soon as Steph put it in front of them and gobbled it up quickly. The cat mother ultimately had the confidence to take a portion of the food. Even fear was unable to stop her because of how hungry she was.
Steph hurried to retrieve one of the kittens when he started to wander out onto the road, while the other two withdrew back to their hiding place. The following morning, Steph came back with the rest of the family after successfully rescuing one kitten.
After returning in an hour with a humane trap, the tabby mom entered. The four were taken to their neighbourhood rescue, Chatons Orphelins Montréal, after they rounded up the two kittens.
