In a yard, a grey cat could be seen rummaging around for food crumbs. She approached the homeowners because she was starving and asked them for food.
Before the weather turned too severe to handle, the family wanted to assist the friendly stray. Their plea was noticed by Nadia, an animal rescuer based in Montreal, Canada, who immediately took action.
She noticed the long-haired cat and the two kittens that had been brought along when she got to their house. Nadia was adamant about getting the cat’s small family off the streets because she had been trying to feed them.
On that day, the cat mother and her beautiful two finally said goodbye to the outside world. They arrived at the cat shelter, Chatons Orphelins Montreal, where a foster home was waiting for them.
According to the rescue, the cat’s name was Melbie, and her kittens’ names were Loupix (a boy) and Lio (a girl).
Melbie took her time to explore her new home and gradually stepped outside of her comfort zone, unlike the younglings who quickly came out of their shells and embraced the comforts of indoor life.
She was initially hesitant because she had spent so much time outside, but her curiosity won out.
