Ten ducklings were found wandering onto a road in Southgate, Michigan, when Diane Desrosiers, an animal control officer, was driving. It was clear that the ducklings had lost their mother.
Desrosiers put them in a pet carrier and made the decision to send them to a location where Stella, a wild duck, had just given birth to nine of her own ducklings in a pond close to the South Winds Golf Club.
Chris Grandy, a professional golfer, saw the moment she was filming when the ducklings were thrown into the pond because it was such an important occasion. As soon as the ducklings hit the water, Stella swam over them, picked them up, and immediately adopted them with her brood.
Like she was aware that they were motherless. The ten ducklings are now living with a new mother and returning to their regular lives. It was such a wonderful motherly gesture. See the video down below.
