A cat by the name of Tails was seen scouring a Brisbane, Australia neighbourhood for food and shelter.
Her previous owners had left her behind to fend for herself when they had moved.
Before a kind stranger intervened to provide assistance, Tails was battling the cold and attempting to endure the conditions of the outdoors.
They moved quickly to prevent the tabby from having to spend another day exploring the area.
In an effort to give the worthy cat a shot for a better life, they got in touch with their neighbourhood rescue, Best Friends Felines.
Tails seemed to have a large stomach. The veterinarian confirmed she was pregnant after seeing her in a clinic and that she would be giving birth in a week or two. Knowing that Tails was secure and her babies wouldn’t have to be born outside made her rescuer happy.
The adorable tabby cat continued to purr loudly as if she was confident that she was safe.
