Something spectacular occurred as wildfires tore through towns close to Denver, Colorado, damaging at least 500 homes.
Merlin, the adored cat of Camden Hall, managed to find his way to the porch of the lone house that had survived all the heat, smoke, and destruction.
According to People, many people really think there’s something almost “magical” about the fact that despite being severely burned, he was able to summon his inner strength to survive.
Hall claims that Merlin has lived up to his name.
Professional snowboarder Hall discussed the terrifying moment he realised that poor little Merlin was trapped in the middle of the Marshall Fire, which raged through Superior, the cities of Louisville and Broomfield, as well as unincorporated areas of Boulder County, in an interview with WTHR on Tuesday.
Hall received the devastating news from his landlord informing him that his house and all of his possessions had been destroyed in the fire while he was working at Eldora Mountain Ski Resort.
Additionally, a poster picturing Merlin was created in the hope that it will help someone locate him.
