Six kittens from a tuxedo cat were brought into a shelter in Wichita, Kansas, in in need of rescue. After learning about their predicament, Heidi Shoemaker of Foster Kitten Mama (in CO) hurried to assist.
She adopted the entire family of seven and gave the cat a cosy place to raise her babies. The mother cat, Taylor, was very protective of her young and worked nonstop to provide for her six hungry mouths.
“She was a shy, worn-out, but incredibly sweet girl. She fed her infants continuously, “Heidi gave Love Meow some.
When Taylor learned her kittens were safe, she gradually warmed up to her people. She lavished her little children with love and attention and paid close attention to them.
Taylor started to unwind in her cosy, warm nest and take advantage of the luxuries that came with it after she realised she was no longer responsible for ensuring their security. She demonstrated her trust by allowing her servants to handle her priceless children.
The kittens developed some digestive problems and needed to be treated and bathed. They were able to receive the necessary medical attention because to the prompt rescue.
