Late in March, Lasagna, a young mommy cat who was “quite pregnant,” was taken in by Nikki, a foster mother for Wrenn Rescues. Her cute kittens quickly earned the nickname “Noodle Babies.”
California’s Ventura County and Los Angeles are served by Wrenn Rescues. We recently told the tale of Pandora, another mother cat, and her “Box Babies.”
Two noodles showed up in Nikki’s safe haven over night. The others then showed up the following morning. Who knows what would have happened to them all if they had remained on the street?
Four kittens would have the chance to live their best lives, but two did not survive—not even in the warm, cosy home.
Nikki discovered a problem with one of the Noodle Babies with the assistance of another foster care caregiver.
A cleft palate kept little white Stellini from latching properly when he first came. Sadly, Stellini would die peacefully even with professional newborn care.
One more had a stillbirth. Unfortunately, all foster care caregivers experience terrible losses on occasion. They nonetheless carry on to foster children in spite of this.
