Everyone, regardless of age or size, needs to be loved and cared for. That is undoubtedly the case with Seven, a 30-pound kitten who ended up at the Jacksonville Humane Society in Florida in late May.
He was adopted in less than seven hours because people thought he was so adorable, and he is now living a healthier life.
According to The Miami Herald, the shelter describes him as “about the size of a barge” and “full of affection.”
This “beef cookie” won the hearts of Facebook people, and requests to adopt Seven poured in. Others uploaded pictures of their large cats that resembled Seven.
One could not help but laugh at the circumstance.
A vet tech is shown cradling Seven and her 15-pound offspring in a side-by-side shot that was shared on Twitter, and the outcome is undoubtedly astounding.
Seven is undoubtedly a sweet, sociable youngster who got along well with the other cats in the group area of the shelter. He reportedly relished soaking up the attention, according to the workers.
While Seven is undoubtedly cute, his issues as an obese cat are unquestionably not. And the Cornell Feline Health Center warns that this baby’s quality of life may suffer significantly. Hopefully, his new family will continue to support him in his weight-loss efforts.
