A stray kitten picked out a travelling military family who always considered themselves to be a “dog family” and who were allergic to cats (at the time, in Alabama).
They and the dogs quickly developed feelings for the cat, giving him the name Jack.
Describes herself as “a relatable Mama” On Instagram, Monica Brenoskie documents her life with her husband Steve, their three daughters, and their two dogs, Sasa and Roxie.
Steve was able to approach the kitten and get near enough to pet him after they had given him some food. Jack then constructed a bed in the planter at the entrance.
The kitten was still there the following morning, so Brenoskie decided to take a trip to the vet after taking a bath. The dog family had a lifelong love of cats.
We observe that Roxie and Jack’s romance has endured since they initially met.
Jack, a mature, graceful “house panther,” continues to teach his family the proper way to care for a cat.
