Although TSA agents at JFK Airport probably see a lot of strange things in travellers’ bags, what was discovered last week probably caught their attention.
At the airport in New York City, a live cat was discovered tucked inside a checked suitcase.
Until the suitcase was put through the x-ray machine and the alarm went off, the pet was safely tucked away in the suitcase, according to a TSA spokeswoman.
When transportation authorities located the traveller, he revealed that the cat belonged to a person he shared a home with.
Fortunately, the cat made it home without incident.
