From Saving Grace Rescue in San Francisco, Grace and Max are two blind cat rescues.
They never let their disability slow them down despite it. Fortunately, the two cats had a happy ending after being adopted by a couple and given a loving, permanent home.
Talented photographer Josh Norem owns and operates The Furrtographer. He has owned several blind cats over the years and enjoys assisting in their adoption into loving homes.
As a blind cat lover, I learned that many of these special needs animals are put to death when they enter a shelter. As a result, I joined Cat Rescue to help cats with similar needs (both seeing and non-seeing) find homes.
The kitten Grace was quite timid. When the couple first met her, she was blind. They immediately realised she would make a wonderful addition to their family. Grace developed into a lovely kitty and has since become Max’s closest friend.
