Duck the Kitten Has Perfectly Adjusted to Life on Two Legs

Duck the kitten, a double amputee rescue, is truly amazing for his adaptation and zest for life. Since she jokingly resembles a waddling T-rex with strong and fearless drive, she goes by the Instagram handle “purrasicduck.”

She’s also been referred to as a “fluffy velociraptor” for easily moving forward on two legs.

Sadly, after climbing inside a car engine, she lost both of her front legs. After being rescued, she went to a foster home, where her new human dad Cody immediately fell in love with her.

This cat doesn’t let anything slow her down—not even the slightest amount, as Cody immediately saw. She perceives walking on her hind legs as normal after losing her legs so young. She appears to be an ordinary kitten as you watch her play, explore, and roll about with excitement. She always seems to be having a good time, which is motivational.

How resilient and adaptable this kitten has always been is nothing short of amazing. Cody claims that she will occasionally “hit a full upright like she’s us and bolt around the house.” Sometimes, she leaps into the air like an Olympian to chase a wadded-up paper ball.

Duck lives in a house with five dogs, Goose the one-eyed “pirate” cat, and five other dogs. Duck and Goose are clearly in love because you can see them playing and cuddling together on Instagram. When Goose was a young child, they first met, and they hit it off right away, becoming best friends who liked to cuddle.
