A compassionate officer stops traffic to save a tiny kitten’s life

When she spotted the little, one-month-old cat in the middle of the road, a kind commuter in Lima, Peru, quickly stopped her car.

When Lorena Castro saw the defenceless cat, she was on her way to Lima’s downtown.

Castro told the Peruvian newspaper El Comercio, “I was about to get out of the car to pick her up when the motorcycle cop passed by. “Stay in the car, he said. I’ll deal with it.'”

She made the decision to record the thrilling rescue at that point by turning on her camera.

The policeman then blocked off multiple lanes of traffic in order to prevent a bus from running over the kitten.

Castro wanted to reward the cop financially when he returned, but the officer declined and went about his day.

After the “Metropolitano” bus line the kitten was discovered on, Castro has now adopted the kitten and given her the name Polly Tana.

Thanks to the kindness of one Peruvian police officer, Little Polly is now healthy.
