Lisi Pickell was in a vulnerable position after experiencing a year of personal grief when she saw the young face peering at her from her yard. She wasn’t focused on making new friends as she moved into her new home in Florida and dealt with the recent deaths of her father, stepfather, and German shepherd.
But there was a cute black cat laying on the graves of a small pet cemetery. Pickell and her spouse found it hard to believe.
According to Pickell, “that first morning changed our lives.” He was just sitting on the graves and staring at us; we were shocked. We both believed that the presence of our German, my dad, and step-dad was a sign from God.
Pickell approached the cat and was moved by his outright compassion and confidence. Even though she had no idea where the animal had come from, she felt incredibly reassured by his presence.

Pickell stated, “We believed he was either a stray or a cat that was allowed out to play.
Pickell and her husband are deeply touched by Frank’s presence in their lives and extremely appreciative that he has provided them with much-needed solace. Clearly loving them, Frank must also be content.
