Rescued by firefighters from an offensive dirt pipe is a little kitten

After a little kitten became stuck in a soil pipe in the West Midlands, firemen were called to the scene.

The Perry Barr Fire Station team used search cameras to find the cat after it ran into difficulties after falling down a hole beneath a washing machine.

The kitten was found to be impaled in an underground soil pipe that carries water from the toilet after the technical rescue crew was called in as backup.

The rescue required numerous tries, according to the force, and kitchen appliances had to be taken out in order to access the pipe.

A snare pole was eventually used to rescue the kitty.

With the right attitude, anything is pawsible, the team jokingly remarked after the successful rescue.

The kitten was reunited with its mother and appeared healthy despite being a little damp.
