At least this adorable cat with no ears is one of them that gets noticed for this reason. Due to medical issues, this cute cat was left without ears, but happily she had some thoughtful people who were nice enough to acquire her a new set of cat ears in their place.
Due to serious chronic infections and hematomas, Lady, this lovely fluff, had to have her ear flaps removed.
Since arriving to Dane County Humane Society, Lady in a Fur Coat, or Lady as she is most commonly known, has quite the medical trip. The stray cat’s ear flaps had to be removed because of a persistent illness and hematomas. Despite this, rescuers claimed that since her ear canal entrances had been blocked by the outer ear due to persistent infections, it’s likely that she can hear much better today.
She has also advanced since Ash Collins of DCHS crocheted the abandoned animal a new pair of socks. Perhaps this was one of the factors in her adoption the next day when the cat shelter shared a picture of her on Facebook.
Lady is still a very happy cat despite having had her earflaps removed, and she never stops giving everyone she meets a loving head bump. She is a stray, so DCHS claimed they don’t know how she is around other animals. Nevertheless, she found her happy ending in a flash!
