When a woman sings to rescued animals, they begin to melt in her arms

Brazil’s Vale da Rainha Sanctuary, one of the world’s safest locations for animals, is managed by thoughtful and kindhearted people. “Rescue animals and impart consciousness to human animals” is the organization’s stated aim.

The animals’ response is astounding as Patricia Favano, the sanctuary’s spiritual director, uses song and kindness to assist in their healing.

Rescue animals are delicate, so everyone at the Sanctuary concentrates on giving them all of their warmth and affection. Realizing how much suffering so many of these animals have had is devastating, but the volunteers hold that our emotions are unimportant and that treating each animal with kindness and openness is what matters most.

We are here to relieve our brothers’ suffering, whoever they may be, Patricia says. May we be able to empathise with others’ anguish so that we can actively assist them in overcoming it.

Singing is one of the best ways to connect with and cure animals, as they learned at the Sanctuary. Every time Patricia sings to the animals, the creatures change in front of our eyes, and they enjoy every minute.

Observing cows, horses, and numerous other creatures bond with Patricia changes the way we perceive them and brings delight to our hearts.
