Rescuers Save a Baby Lion Whose Legs Were Broken For Tourist Photos

Recently, a really sad story about a juvenile lion appeared online, illustrating just how cruel this is to the animals involved, especially when they are young.

When he was only a few months old, a photographer kidnapped him from his mother with the intention of using him as a tourist attraction.

In order to prevent him from fleeing while posing for photos with visitors, this horrible man fractured his legs and hurt his back.

His life was no longer in urgent danger thanks to the fact that he was saved and taken right away to the veterinarian for surgery.

They gave him the name Simba.

When word of this horrifying act reached Russian President Vladimir Putin, he promptly launched a criminal investigation into the incident.

Simba was in critical condition when he was saved, and the medics’ incredible work saved his life despite his severe wounds. It will probably take him some time before he is able to trust people again, though.

Simba is now learning what it’s like to be a baby lion with a lot of love and care.

Although some of these images are horrifying, when you realise what a lot of love and care can accomplish to improve an animal’s life, it will warm your heart.
