A Tampa man was allegedly robbed at gunpoint and shot at while walking his two little dogs just a block from his home, according to authorities. He lost one of his pups.
Around 7 p.m. on Friday, Geovanni Ruiz was out walking his two seven-year-old dachshunds on the 2600 block of West Powhatan Avenue when a man approached him and demanded money from him while firing his gun, according to Tampa police.
