A homeless kitten camped out on a woman’s doorstep and begged for help

Little Nuggie was alone since she had no family. The 6-week-old kitten travelled far and wide in search of a loving and caring home. Then, one day, when she was too weak and hungry to continue, she happened to cross paths with the ideal person and made the decision that she should be the one to assist her.

She wouldn’t accept “no” as an answer.

Nuggie huddled up against the good stranger’s windowpane the day she was saved and screamed out for assistance. She sobbed a little bit longer when nobody helped her.

The homeowner eventually noticed her and brought her inside to keep her safe until a nearby rescue could take over, proving that Nuggie’s plan had eventually succeeded.

Detroit Community Cat Rescue’s May Walsh told The Dodo that “a citizen of Detroit called us about a little cat less than a pound on their porch.” They sent a snapshot, and we were powerless to refuse!

The energetic kitty is currently searching for her forever home, where she will never again be alone.

May remarked, “Nuggie brought so much joy into my life and the shelter. She exemplifies why both humans and pets may benefit from rescue.
