In an effort to assist his fatigued wife, a husband brought back the wrong dog from the groomers, prompting us all to exclaim, “You had one job!”
It had been one of those days. You know, those days when everything you do appears to be a comedy act for the universe, destiny, or whatever other force governs the flow of life.
CoCo Salazar was overworked over the holidays, working a 15-hour shift. Tired and overworked, she decided to delegate an apparently simple task to Rudy Salazar, her husband of 23 years.
CoCo Salazar was swamped with work during the holidays, so she asked her husband Rudy Salazar to pick up their dog BooBear from the groomers.
Pick up your dog from the groomer. That was the only task. Only one task! Of course, Rudy agreed to do this one easy uncomplicated basic thing and bring BooBear home since he cared about his wife. If you paid attention in the beginning, you already know what’s coming next; it wasn’t simple.
The well-meaning man arrived to the groomers and entered the small shop. But this is where he made his first error. He informed a member of staff that he had come to see CoCo. Rudy meant that he was there on behalf of his wife CoCo, but the groomer misinterpreted this statement, assuming the man was there to pick up Coco the pup.
Rudy informed the groomer that he had come to see CoCo. Rudy intended to be there on behalf of his wife CoCo, but the groomer misinterpreted him.
A small white pup named Coco happened to be in for an appointment that day, and when given the puppy, Rudy just ran with it. Literally
CoCo took one look and knew something was wrong. It wasn’t BooBear! “Rudy, you just kidnapped a dog!” she remarked in a video shot at the time
In his defence, Rudy stated, “They gave me the incorrect dog!” “Go back and grab the appropriate puppy,” his wife chuckled as she shared the amusing accident on Facebook.
