This man says he has always loved dogs and that all he wants to do is adopt them. He went to his neighbourhood animal shelter to purchase a dog for this purpose.
When he arrived, however, every dog had already been taken and relocated to their new homes.
However, there was one cat in a cage in the rear of the room, named Marbles, and the woman there said he may handle her if he wanted to. The kitten began meowing happily as soon as he unlocked her cage. She pressed her face into the brim of his cap as he pulled her up, melting his heart.
I became a great sap, he said. Before this, I had never liked or desired cats. Marbles was his adoptive child, but he quickly gave her the name Barb. “I used to not like cats, but now I guess you could say I do!” Barb is now a gorgeous, affectionate, and feisty cat because of the love and assistance of this man.
He got a dog named Rupert about six months after getting Barb.
They quickly grew to be good friends, and they now spend much of their time chasing and playing with each other.
These three are going to live happy and fulfilling lives together, in my opinion!
