The 17-year-old cat Kiki expresses her gratitude to her new family every day for giving her a place to call her forever home.
Kiki, then 17, was abandoned at a shelter. She was saved by us, and since then, she regularly expresses her happiness to us, the Kitty Adventure Rescue League reported. She genuinely enjoys being a part of the KARL family.
Due to Kiki’s prior owner’s passing, the family opted to leave her at the animal shelter.
We couldn’t simply allow her to remain there, KARL wrote. “We maintain a refuge for senior and special needs animals. You’d be shocked at how many people prefer to abandon an ageing cat on the streets or at a shelter.
Fortunately for Kiki, she won’t be residing at a shelter anymore. She now resides permanently with someone that adore her dearly.
Kiki adores her new permanent residence.
