In the woods, two stray cat mothers request the assistance of hikers for their 9 kittens

Hikers were approached by two feral cat mums who needed assistance for their young. They were genuinely astonished and amazed to see nine little kittens when Alexandra Dominguez and her friends came across the cat families in the woods.

“We decided to go on a hike this past summer while visiting friends in a different town. My companion shouts “KITTY!” as we are driving through the woods in search of trails that are close to the road. Back there was a cat, I swear! Then turn around.

We arrive at a gravel pull-off where a cat is seated by the side of the road. She approaches us and begins to rub against our legs while meowing. Then, before we know it, another cat emerges from the woods, then we see more cats!

It turned out that two mother cats had abandoned their nine kittens in the woods.

We had to travel into the woods to find their babies because they were afraid. The mothers assisted us in obtaining their kittens.

We had to help because my pals and I are all crazy cat women. After we successfully caught them all, we took the animals back with us, fed and cleaned them, and then we phoned the shelters. We called everyone we knew to see if they wanted a cat but none of them could till a week or two later.

I eventually took them back to my place until I had time to transport them the six hours to their new house, but my boyfriend eventually found a couple friends who would take them.

I made a lot of effort to avoid becoming involved. I tried to resist, but as a cat lover whose 18-year-old family cat had had passed away a few months previously, I was unable. The two tiny runts who required a little more care won my heart.

My boyfriend agreed when I asked him to let us keep the cats because he has a little allergy to them. I now have two spoiled sons, Luce and Bub, and I’m a very happy cat mom (but my partner is also a crazy cat dad, even though he’ll never acknowledge it).

The 11 cats have all been adopted into wonderful everlasting homes. What a heroic rescue tale!
