Four feral kittens and their mother were saved by a man after months of work

A compassionate man spotted a mother feral cat and her four babies at an old barn. He made the decision to start feeding the cats and attempting to socialise them. Before the kittens finally displayed signs of trust and permitted the humans to touch them for the first time, it took them more than two months.

“I pulled four stray kittens out of a dilapidated barn. To socialise them took a while, but it was worth the wait, according to reddit user calio88.

They shifted the cat food dish a little bit closer to their home each time they fed the cats until they reached the back door. When they finally succeeded in closing the door one day, the kittens had successfully moved in!

The mother cat was captured, spayed, and brought back to the barn, where she is still being fed on a daily basis.

“Mama is always on the farm and in the house. For meals, she is at the front door every morning and every evening. She has been seen by the kittens numerous times, he added. (reddit)

The four kittens grew up to be wonderful indoor cats! Miss Dolly, Lloyd, Little Missy, and “PK” Pip Kitty are their names.

Mama is quite feral, making socialisation very challenging. There is hope because I can now touch Mama when I feed her. She requires a lot of patience and time, but she is doing well and is content and well-fed,” he continued.
