In a junkyard, two motherless kittens approached a father and son and begged for assistance.
As soon as one of the kittens noticed the young man, he stuck his head out.
“This kitten and its sibling were found by themselves as my father and I were gathering equipment for our new business in a scrapyard. Unfortunately, after searching the area for the mother, we discovered her body nearby,” Brendan Miller told the kind folks at Love Meow.
The little tabby kittens were obviously timid at first, but they were also hungry and alone. They approached their new human pals gently in an effort to create eye contact.
“After a while, they warmed up to us and seemed to like the camera.”
It was immediately obvious at this moment that these little ones needed assistance.
They appeared to have recently lost their mother, and as they now only had each other, they were both in desperate need of mature assistance.
One of the kittens approached the boy and calmly laid down on his side. He then turned over onto his back and began tinkering with his large shoe.
Instinctively, the father and son realised they had to get the two kittens out of there and inform the property owner about them.
When they are old enough to be placed in permanent homes, the person who arrived and offered to foster them will do so. The young man explained that he was unable to care for the kittens due to financial constraints, but it warmed their hearts to learn that the fluffy little creatures liked and trusted them enough to ask for their help. The fact that the cats are now in capable hands merely makes the father and son happier.
