A Poem from the Cat I thank you you bring, for the food and for my little squeaky thing. I thank you for your friendly talks, and when you change my litter box. I thank you for the naps we share, and putting up with tufts of hair. I thank you for these things you do…. enjoy this mouse I caught for you
I put my foot in my slipper when I got up to find a dead goldfish in it. Wouldn’t have been so bad but it was one of my own
My cat came in through the window by my bed one summer night, carrying a live mouse which was then dropped on me to run around in a panic- well, that made two of us! The stuff nightmares are made of. My cats are now indoor cats.
