The Corona Pandemic Crisis and the lockdown have significantly impacted on Aviation Industry as well as their dependent sectors. As for Now the Lockdown has ended and the Unlock process has started, the first question which is everybody’s mind ; When Will International Flights Resume in India ? When will open the International Travel? or When International Flights Will Start ? The Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India is thinking to take the decisions on the resumption of international flights as soon as in the coming month.
When International Flights Will Start
International Flights may resume soon as per source ; According to The Ministry of Civil Aviation, India is planning to to establish the “Individual Bilateral Bubbles” with Some Countries like United States (US), France, Germany, United Kingdom (UK).
According to the Tweet of Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA_GoI) 23rd June 2020;
What is “Individual Bilateral Bubbles”
US, France, Germany, UK Aviation Authority requested to Indian Aviation Ministry, to allow and resume the International Flights for the transportation of passengers under the Vande Bharat Mission (वंदे भारत’ मिशन) by establishing the “bilateral bubbles” between these countries. As the Vande Bharat Mission Phase 3 is going on for Indians who stuck in the foreign & wish to return to Home.
A ‘Travel Bubble’ or A ‘Bilateral Air Bubble’ or ‘Bilateral Bubble Arrangement” these term used as the travel corridor or travel agreement between 2 countries through they can open their respective borders for citizens from selected countries on the belief of two things e.g (1) they have eliminated the virus (2) trust on their testing numbers.
Thats why the Government of India is considering to establish the “Individual Bilateral Bubbles” with US UK Germany and France on their requests behalf and the negotiations with the United States, United Kingdom, France & Germany countries are underway and decision will be taken by the aviation ministry.
As We all know the Indian Government suspended the all international flights from 25 March 2020 because of the Corona Pandemic & Lockdown and launches the Vande Bharat Mission From 6th May 2020 to help the stuck Indian People in other countries.
But As Per Now the Aviation Ministry India is planning to resume the International flights with serval countries like US, UK, France & Germany etc. Final Decision is awaited by the Ministry of India to allow to start operating the international flights on the basis of ‘Individual Bilateral Bubbles’.
