A tabby cat named Miss Marple was discovered lost in the streets of Camden, New Jersey, carrying a baby.
The street cat was found by a Good Samaritan who was unable to leave her to fend for herself.
A cat rescue in Southern New Jersey, Kitkat Playroom, offered their assistance. They took her in and provided the expectant cat mother with a cosy, peaceful space. Jen Mack, the creator of Kitkat Playroom, told Love Meow, “We put her in our nursery and she searched the entire room within minutes.”
Her fur was matted and soiled from foraging for food and living outside.
In the hopes that there would be ample time, we started her right away on high-calorie, nutritious diet.
When her foster mother Jen was in the next room, Marple would hiss, spit, and growl at her. Almost no one was allowed in the room with her.
