The story starts when the Bosche family noticed a stray cat in their garden one evening.
Despite the fact that he was difficult to approach, they decided to start placing food out for him because he appeared to be in need of a nice meal.
Before making the painful choice to transport the tabby to the animal shelter five miles away, where he would have a chance to find his forever home, they continued to feed the cat for one month.
