Blackberry, a loving mother cat, was seen running across a sizable blackberry patch when rescuers arrived. The Regional Animal Protection Society (RAPS) of British Columbia sent a team, and they were able to capture Blackberry, her five babies, and the father of the kittens, Rip!
It is unusual for rescuers to be able to bring in a full cat family at once, and it took roughly a week to obtain them all.
At first, all of the kittens and cats were wary of people.
Blackberry later gave her rescuers a huge shock when she revealed that she was already expecting again. They found it while she was getting ready for her spay procedure, and they soon had four additional kittens that needed foster care.
The next group was dubbed the “N” litter by the rescuers, and they would also raise and place them in homes.
