A litter of kittens in need of urgent care was disclosed to Sara Sharp, the founder of Community Cat Club (in South New Jersey), last month.
Sara explained to Love Meow that “their mother was too unwell and wasn’t producing enough milk to care for them.”
The buff tabby kitten ended up being the only one of the litter to survive despite their best efforts to save the others. He had a strong determination from the beginning and shown amazing strength for someone so small.
Things started to improve for the little man with tube feedings, round-the-clock care, and lots of tender loving care.
“After two weeks, I was confident he would recover. I was concerned at first because he was one among the smallest, but then he began to thrive, “Telling Love Meow, Sara.
Over the following few days, the kitten, who was given the name Christian Bale, made more progress. Sara transformed his nest into a roomy cat apartment when he began to use his legs and grew more active.
