Tiger Tim is a cute orange cat that ended up abandoned and alone himself in a shelter all because of a piece of furniture.
Tim’s owner, who had owned him since he was a 3-month-old kitten, gave him up to New York City Animal Care and Control (ACC), although it’s unclear why that made Tim unable to remain in his home.
Tiger Tim was rescued by Magnificat Cat Rescue from a city shelter and placed in a loving foster home,
but the sweet tabby is bewildered and heartbroken about the separation from his family and home. And things are only getting worse for him.
“He doesn’t want to eat or drink. We’ve been feeding him by force for days to keep him alive “He has dropped roughly 3 pounds since being turned in, the rescue added in a Facebook post on Monday.
He is never hostile; he’s just incredibly depressed and curled up into a tiny ball of despair.
