Even while we’d all like to think that a quick call to the fire department could save a cat stuck in a tree, it’s not as simple as that. Despite their best efforts, resources are not always able to assist due to rules and laws.
Consider a cat that suddenly discovered itself perched atop a VERY high electrical post.
The raised cat was discovered in Belen, New Mexico, shortly after the month of December had begun. To report the occurrence, a local man started calling emergency departments.

But after a few days and countless calls from other locals, he was able to find assistance. The Volunteers at the adjacent Los Lunas Valencia County Animal Shelter learned about the situation.
Here was the final impetus they required to unite those forces in order to save the feline. The rescue made a request for assistance on their Facebook page.
