A cute pregnant cat with purple-dyed fur finds salvation from certain death

Rescue workers are aware that an animal’s strangely coloured fur is a bad indicator. And I’m not talking about felines’ distinctive coat patterns, which are rarely seen in the wild. I’m referring to fur that is coloured purple, green, or blue. You are aware that a cruel person coloured the fur. But for what purpose? Why would they do something like that?

Her fur was coloured purple for this adorable pregnant cat, most likely because she would be used as bait.
You did read that correctly. Bait. Bait is most frequently used for dog fighting. The nausea I experience every time I type or read those phrases is another recurring symptom.

Additionally, this cat’s life on the streets of Syria wasn’t exactly easy to begin with, so she had to prepare for death in the ring as well. For felines, pregnancy and labour may go horribly wrong very rapidly. Even if she had previously given birth, which, let’s be honest, is equally unlikely.

However, there is a unique group in the region that has made it their goal to help the vulnerable animals in their country, which is ripped apart by war. It was Ernesto, The Cat Man of Aleppo, and his hardworking, knowledgeable crew. And luckily, this mother in desperate need was just lately brought to their refuge.

The purple girl was discovered hiding out at a nearby printing shop where she could give birth without danger.

The fact that she was there despite having survived the life of a “bait” cat is not mentioned. So they got in touch with Ernesto’s squad, who came running. The coloured cat was eventually captured and brought to actual safety.
