A litter of five kittens without a mother was sent to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA in Virginia) last month.
Asa, a volunteer with the rescue, took them into her care because they needed a foster home.
The kittens were intrepid and enquisitive about their new surroundings from the beginning.
The fuzzy group went straight to their cat room and started running around like they owned the place.
One by one, some of them climbed into Asa’s arms or onto her shoulder while others crawled onto her lap. Collectively, the five of them decided that instead of napping in their own beds, they would take a sleep on their foster mother.
Since day one, they have been really amiable and loving, Asa told Love Meow.
“The three girls (Miss Tash, Cappuccino, and InĂ©s) like to use me as a cat tree while the two boys (Joe and Mr. Bean) wrap up in my lap whenever they have the chance.”
