Within the Burton Fire District, Cory had just transitioned to a full-time post. And what do you know? A call was made to the station in regards to a cat on a roof. The poor cat had climbed a mobile home’s roof and had been there for two days!
However, the cat didn’t belong to the owners, who mistakenly thought it belonged to a neighbour. And they didn’t stumble upon it by mistake! Since every time they had went around the house, the cat had been meowing loudly.
But what happened next was shocking and tragic in every way. Because the cat leaped into Cory’s arms as soon as he ascended the roof!
