Three kittens were born under a tree in the yard of a Bronx, New York, family. Although the cat mother made an effort to keep them dry and warm, the weather had been unfavourable and unsuitable for newborns.
The homeowners relocated them to a safe location and gave the mother nourishment.
They contacted Little Wanderers NYC, a volunteer-run animal rescue group in New York, in an effort to get the four-person family the care they required to flourish.
According to Megan, a volunteer foster parent, “When Lisa, our co-founder, got word, she let me know because I had just finished fostering a mom and babies, and we had space.”
“The family that found them volunteered to put them in a carrier and drive them to me quite kindly. These men went above and beyond the call of duty.”
The feline family was delivered to Megan and Tyrone yesterday. The mother cat emerged from the carrier and entered her new home without delay. She took a look around the facility and gave it her seal of approval after finding plenty of delicious food, a variety of amenities, and kind people who welcomed her with open arms.
