A tiny tabby cat in urgent need of emergency care was brought to Caroline Grace’s attention last month.
Caroline is the creator of Baby Kitten Rescue. The kitten had a bleak beginning before Alejandra, a fellow animal rescuer, took it to safety.
The kitten was the last of a litter of five that had been abandoned by their mother. One of the kittens regrettably passed away, while three others were given away.
Alejandra worked hard to save the last kitten, who had been malnourished for some time and was severely underweight.
She made a request in an effort to give the cat a better chance of survival. After hearing her story, Caroline told Love Meow, “I couldn’t say no.
“I was astounded by the kitten’s diminutive size when she first showed up. She appeared to be three weeks old based on her teeth and developmental stage, but she only had the weight of a two-day-old kitten. Given that she is a small warrior, her name, Aiden, means “little fire.””
Aiden was nothing more than skin and bones, yet he craved love. She insisted on having her foster mother with her at all times for the first twelve hours.
