A stray cream calico decided to hang out on the porch of a neighbor’s house.
She was observed alone herself, with no sign of her mother or siblings.
The kitty didn’t intend to leave the porch and remained there. The child put her paws on the railing as if she wanted to be let inside when the resident noticed her.
The resident contacted Detroit Community Cat Rescue in an effort to save the cat because she was concerned for her safety.
“The caller explained that she was the lone cat in the area and that she was worried of being hit by a car. We arrived there in under an hour “Shared by Detroit Community Cat Rescue and Love Meow.
“The kitten was not as big as we had anticipated. We made the choice to house her.
We were congratulated by all the neighbours for taking her.”
She was so little and mostly formed of fluff that she was affectionately given the moniker Nuggie. With Jennifer, one of the rescue’s foster volunteers, Nuggie began a new chapter.
