This sad puppy has spent his entire existence in a public pound. He knew nothing else and was constantly in a state of heartbreak. He’d been passed by and neglected so many times that seeing folks stroll by no longer bothered him. So when his rescuers arrived, he had no idea they were there to assist him.
Arkin appeared to be devoid of hope. He didn’t bark, nor did he whine. It was as if he had accepted his fate of never leaving this dreadful prison. But today was the day his inner scream for assistance would be heard.
Howl Of A Dog decided to save this lovely youngster and take him to the vet clinic for medical attention. He had a horrible flea infestation and was given a medicinal bath to help get rid of the parasites.
It took a while, but Arkin’s grief began to diminish. It was time to start a new life, and he came out of his shell a little more each day.
Arkin is still in Howl Of A Dog’s care, but he has made an astounding recovery and is enjoying every moment of his new life. Look at how content he is! But he still requires a lifelong home, and that is the only way his story can truly finish happily.
